Annemarie is the creator of Insightly Counseling and Psychotherapy. 

My Dutch background fostered in me an open mind regardless of gender, age, religion, culture, or personal preferences. Years of extensive travel throughout the world and living in many countries has given me an awareness and insight into how different cultures and upbringings influence perceptions and expectations of life. 

Working in diverse roles as a kindergarten teacher, a non-clinical mental health nurse in community and high security psychiatric units has given me a diverse knowledge range. The combination of my diverse experiences has helped me develop unique abilities  to support my capacity for  psychotherapy and counselling. I am also the mother of two teenagers, so I understand how difficult parenting can be.
